Best of 2013 - weddings

This past year I had the opportunity to photograph many beautiful brides!  Above are just a handful of my favorite bridal portraits from this past season.

Photographing the wedding party is always a fun time! 

Here are just a couple of venue shots I really liked... along with a "ring detail".  Dino BBQ, Syracuse, was a fun & unique spot for a wedding.  I LOVED shooting a wedding at the Historical Nipmoose Barns.  It is really a stunning location with beautiful views all around.

Bouquets are one of my favorite things to photograph!  I really loved the two above.  The first was designed by Bella Fleur and the second by The Flower Girl.  Both are super creative florists who do absolutely stunning work!

The image above was not from an actual wedding, but a wedding inspiration shoot I did this past October.  In addition to photographing bouquets, I love to photograph cakes & goodies of all kinds.  The beautiful dessert table above was completely styled by Styled By Melissa ( Melissa could make this happen at your wedding! )  The shoot took place at Lindsey's Orchard.  They also provided all of the yummy pies, donuts and other treats.

Finally, above are a very limited selection of my favorite couple photos.  I really enjoyed working with each and every couple that I photographed this year and trying to choose a handful of my favorites was extremely difficult!  To view more weddings, and more photos from each wedding, please go back a bit through my blog posts :-)
2013 was a fabulous year filled with creative and beautiful weddings, fabulous couples and I also did a record breaking amount of portraits as well (which I love to do).

Lindsay + Shea - wedding

A few weeks ago I photographed Lindsay & Shea's lovely, brunch wedding at Riverstone Manor.  It was an unseasonably warm and beautiful day.
Lindsay & Shea are both environmental biologists and choosing a location that offered a beautiful outdoor area, waterside, was very important to them... and Riverstone Manor was just perfect!
I loved the little succulent details everywhere from the favors to Lindsay's bouquet ( I have a little obsession with succulents ).

wedding - Elizabeth + Chris

Here are some of my favorite shots from Chris & Elizabeth's gorgeous wedding, last week!  They tied the knot at the beautiful Appel Inn & the absolutely stunning floral design was by Bella Fleur.  Liz was heavily involved in the decor, adding lots of DIY touches... she collected tons of vintage, silver containers for the flowers, which looked awesome!
Liz & Chris have three cute kids who acted as witnesses in the ceremony, making the day an especially heartwarming, family affair.

wedding - Katharine & Michael

This past weekend I photographed Katharine & Michael's beautiful, barn wedding.  It took place at the lovely Pruyn house barn.  The weather couldn't have been nicer and everyone had a fabulous time.  I loved the simple elegance of everything at this wedding.. from Katharine's gorgeous dress to the decor.  The food food was just awesome!!  Mazzone Hospitality always does a terrific job and are always so nice to work with!
I really enjoyed photographing this joyous wedding.  Congrats to Katharine & Michael!!
