I did not photograph the lovely cakes that you see above.... I came across them on another blog and had to re-post... they are so adorable! I love wedding cakes... when ever I'm photographing a wedding, I always find myself taking way more photos of the wedding cake then is really necessary... I am just drawn to them.. they smell delicious and they are edible, beautiful, pieces of art... what's better than that! Anyway, the cakes above are by Sarah Magid, an organic baker out of Brooklyn. How sweet! .... check her out Sarah Magid
I had so much fun photographing Lauren & Bill's wedding this past Saturday.. here are a handful of photos... It was a very nice day... the ceremony and reception were both lovely.. & the bride and groom were escorted to their reception in a 50's Cadillac, owned by the father of the bride....
This week I have been very busy editing and have fallen a bit behind in my blog postings... I plan on posting some photos, early next week, from tomorrow's wedding. Next week I will be busy with editing, portrait sessions (including a pin up photo shoot!), and just trying to catch up on lots of work before the holiday weekend..... anyway... here is a little tribute to MJ... it's hilarious... 1500 prisoners practicing the incredible dance routine from "Thriller" = )
This past weekend was originally planned to be a free weekend, but when Amy approached me to shoot her & Patrick's wedding for 3 hours on Saturday afternoon, I happily accepted... I didn't pull too many photos to post ... just a few of the gals and the guys hanging out prior to the ceremony and a few of the couple together after-wards ( I don't have many reception shots from this one, since I was only there shortly in to the reception )... Unfortunately Saturday turned out to be a rainy day and the ceremony was moved in doors! We did get a brief window of opportunity, right after the ceremony, to run out and do a couple of quick outdoor photos...
Here are some shots from Brianna & Stephen's wedding this past Sunday.... They had a very warm and very sunny wedding day! The flower girl was adorable and seemed to enjoy having her photo taken... however, she's only pictured in two of the photographs above... Some cool things from this wedding... the bride's bouquet... the ceremony harpist... the bride's grandfather was the sax player in the band that played during their reception... Anyway... there are lots of photos from this wedding, but I only had time to quickly pull a few shots, since I'm very busy editing this week....
Here a few shots from Stephanie and John's wedding this past Friday.... it down-poured about 10 minutes prior to their outdoor ceremony... but then it brightened up and all turned out just fine...
