the holiday was nice and taking time off has been fun.... yesterday, we went to Mass MOCA for a little day trip... the exhibitions were all great... but, this one interactive installation, pictured above, made for a great photo op (however they were taken with my teeny point and shoot camera)... the bottom one was taken by a kind stranger...

Happy Holidays

I'm taking a bit of a vacation this week.... I'm doing some work, but hope to be caught up enough, by the end of today, to just have fun for the rest of the week... My blog postings may be few and far between this week (if I post anything)...

down time...

I thought that I'd be completely bored in December.. maybe even get a little break.. not the case... I am however, sending out the final wedding photo batch on my plate!!! My next wedding isn't until January 10th... so a bit of down time, for the Holidays... I've still got some other things to work on...to my amazement... an album to design, corp photos to send out and a couple other portrait sessions...

so... I have this blog, on which I like to post a lot of my professional work, some cool stuff I find (as seen below) and sometimes a personal photo or two... like in this entry... not all of the photos I am posting are well thought out, or taken with a professional camera... the one above was taken with my really crappy (compared to my pro cam), tiny (therefore convenient), digital camera..... so the quality is no good... but my nephew is so cute!

so... here is a quick pict of our colorful xmas tree... I love this time of year! It is a good apartment sized tree.. and it came with the lights already on it... which is convenient, however, one day, I'd like to get a real one...

so... yesterday I had a show with some fellow artists from the UAG, as part of Troy Night Out... lots of people swung by... we are leaving our work up for next weeks annual Victorian Stroll... at 27 Third St. (near the intersection of Broadway and 3rd), in Troy.... so, if you happen to be in the Troy area, next Sunday, the 7th... stop by and check out the vacant storefront show....
